God's purposes will ripen fast, unfolding every hour
the bud may have a bitter taste, but sweet will be the flower

"In the Bible, God is saying 'you won't understand Me, but you can always trust Me. If I surprise you with trouble, I will also surprise you with the joy I'll bring out of that trouble. You may struggle to believe that right now. But what seems impossible is the very thing I specialize in.'"- Ray Ortlund Jr

I'm not going through anything "major" or painful at the moment, but I thought those lines in the song "God Moves" and the quote were good reminders.
and maybe it can encourage someone who may be passing by. I hope it does.

hey. you totally stole my whole opinion thing. and now when i have time i'll steal your (S). cause the atrocious grammer of "i opinions" or "2 opinion" is killing me.

hoser.

I couldn't think of another word to use. for some reason, I thought I had picked one other than opinion. oh, that's right, I meant to write "observation" but I was still thinking of yours. I apologize.

i heard you were going to haiti, and just wanted to let you know that i will keep you in my prayers. i haven't been (i went to africa) but my good friend went to haiti. she said it was absolutely incredible. anywhere new you go has got to be an experience.

well, hope you stay healthy and bring back many great stories and lessons.

The link to my band stuff is no longer. I surmised that it would be bountiful to inform you of such purported discrepancies.

I wish I had a vocabularily grander response, because I like words. but I don't. so thanks. for letting me know- problem fixed.

you have a manager and it isn't me?!

i'm hurt.

Anonymous said...

no, he's not the management of my blog... that's not what he meant- I think (what would put such an idea into his capricious cranium?).

"vocabularily" is not a word my dear unless it is some kind of snooty English vernacular. Fiction can be fun but I find the reference section much more enlightening! And yes, that is obviously what is needed lest I iterate again.

I figured it was not a word, but assertained that creative people might decipher my meaning, for lack of a better one.

And I fail to understand that last sentence of yours.

Do two wrongs make a right? If one wrong is committed and then in order to alleviate said wrong another wrong is pointed out does this mean both wrongs then become negated? A wise Man once said that it is wise to remove the plank out of your own eye before trying to remove the speck out of your brother's eye. So then what does make right a wrong? Perhaps we should look again to the Man of Wisdom and discover that a grace given will pay a debt that has been made. Store this truth in your heart and true wealth will overflow you. Let grace and forgiveness abound in your life always and the thankfulness of true friendship will be your reward.

Thank you

anonymous has a good point. thanks for sharing. we could always use more grace.

but i think they must not be a regular reader to beks blog. we often point out grammatical and spelling mistakes because deep down we wish we were english majors. beks and i spell things the british way sometimes, which is slightly annoying to jake because he's not irish. (alas for him) it's all in fun. however, if it's coming across as ungracious to others maybe we should rethink the way we communicate, eh?

(just keep your usage of ginormous words and grand language because i quite enjoy it)

why don't you use ur name jake? 'fraid some1 will hunt u down ;)?

how lame is this? I'm commenting on my own blog. for no reason! well, only to do something since this post has been up forever, and everytime I start a new post, I can't finish it, so I have 2 or more saved drafts. blah.

No Fe, I'm not afraid. I guess it kinda just happened and now it is my non-descriptive signature.

hey, aren't you supposed to be working?

Place bid at this venture
This risk
I must say
On the verge of something fine
Something beautiful
Just it may
Belong past the shoulder
What might this become?
To ponder a question
A choice
Innately begun

can't answer a question I don't understand.

if you can huddle under your quilts all morning, you have time to update. ;)
